The Christmas lights will be switched on in the market place at 18.30
There will be a full market on the day, with additional seasonal traders.
The Service of Remembrance will be held in the Memorial Gardens adjacent to the town War Memorial because St Mary’s Church will still be under renovation. The traditional parade to/from the service will be held with timings similar to previous years although the church service will be shorter than usual. Full details will be published by RBL MM in due course.
TEDDY BEARS PICNIC 2.00pm – 4.00pm ALL FREE
Bring a Teddy or equivalent and a picnic in Wilton Park, LE13 0DA.
Bouncy Castle, Get the Football Past the Goalie Game, Egg and Spoon Races, Sack Races, Mum’s and Dad’s Races. Poster Colouring. Melton Fire & Rescue Service bring their Fire Engine and Melton Local Police Unit – Crime Prevention bring the Multi-purpose Police Car. Both these vehicles can be ‘inspected’.
Refreshments available at the Pavilion Cafe. Plus Lots of Give-Aways.

The free concerts start at 2.45pm until 4.30pm, in the Bandstand in the New Park, Melton Mowbray, with a refreshment break. The Pavilion café and the refreshment kiosk will be open for hot and cold drinks and ice creams/confectionery. Seating is provided, but you may wish to bring your own as it is limited.
