Come to the St Mary’s Church, Melton Mowbray for an evening of superlative strings from Orchestra Pro Anima, with a choral performance by children from local schools.
Inspired by the power of art and music in communities, The High Sheriff of Leicestershire, Mr John Chatfeild-Roberts, in partnership with Water City Music and Melton Mowbray Town Estate, has worked with schools and musicians to create this event that will inspire and excite audiences of all ages.
Water City Music works with young children to develop their creative talents as much as their academic ones.
The Melton Proms follows the Sheriff’s Shindig on the 9th of March, a free, open-air event in Melton Mowbray Market Place, featuring a samba band, community choirs, singers and other musicians in a joyful day of performances.
