Country on the Eye: Full lineup announced
The Melton Mowbray Town Estate is proud to host the inaugural Country on the Eye festival in June 2026, bringing two days of country music to the historic setting of Play Close Park.
In addition to the acts already announced, the full lineup adds the London Song Suffragettes residency, who will be joining us for a special one-of-a-kind show featuring the best female singer-songwriters from the UK to share songs and stories. Song Suffragettes is Nashville’s pre-eminent, all-female acoustic showcase and collective founded in 2014 and performing weekly at the Listening Room Cafe.
Plus, distinguished, 6-time BMI Award-winning, Grammy and CMT Award-nominated songwriter, producer, and publisher, Jeff Cohen, will perform on the main stage on Saturday, 13th June and join us for the Songwriters Showcase on Friday, 12th June.

Taking place on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June 2026, the festival celebrates original artists from the UK and the US, combining world-class live music with community spirit, heritage and the beautiful riverside surroundings of the River Eye.
Alongside live performances, visitors can enjoy a dedicated Acoustic Tent, workshops, Americana-inspired food and drink, and family-friendly festival activities. With nearly 500 years of history, the Town Estate is delighted to support an event that blends cultural celebration with Melton Mowbray’s rich heritage.
Country on the Eye marks an exciting new addition to the town’s events calendar, welcoming music lovers from across the region and beyond.
