A Seamless Season Opener for FootGolf at Sysonby Acres

The 2025 FootGolf season teed off in style at Sysonby Acres over the weekend of April 6th and 7th, with two back-to-back events drawing players from across the country.

Saturday hosted the Regional Tour Super Cup, followed by The BIG Kick Off on Sunday. Both players and organisers hailed the weekend as a smooth and successful start to the season.

Paul Boulton, Director & Head of FootGolf at the FootGolf Association of England, commented: “The FootGolf Association of England always enjoy our events at Sysonby Acres and in over 10 years of visiting, this was the best planning and execution I’ve seen. A truly seamless event, thanks to brilliant teamwork on and off the course – a fantastic experience for everyone involved.”

Sysonby Acres, managed by Melton Mowbray Town Estate, continues to be a favourite venue for footgolf enthusiasts, thanks to the dedication of the Town Estate team.

Dean Rees, CEO of Melton Mowbray Town Estate, said: “It’s great to hear such positive feedback. I am so pleased that the FootGolf event went so well. I know the Town Estate team, headed by Mark Vardy, has been working hard to maintain the quality of Sysonby Acres.”
