Melton Fireworks & Bonfire 2026 is Officially Back!
We are thrilled to officially launch the Melton Fireworks & Bonfire 2026! Get ready for a night with a bonfire, sparklers, and a sky full of fireworks to light up the evening!
On Wednesday, 4th November, we’ll be opening the gates at Play Close Park (LE13 1GH) for an unforgettable community celebration. Whether you’re coming for the glowing embers of the bonfire or the stunning colours across the sky, we’ve planned a fantastic evening for all ages.
DJ sets by Chris Popple will keep the party going from the gates opening through the evening. The event will include a children’s funfair, food vendors, and an on-site bar. To comply with our licensing agreement, we cannot allow alcohol to be brought into the event.
This year, we’re particularly pleased to include a dedicated Sensory Fireworks Display at 7:00 PM—a gentler, lower-noise option that lets little ones and sensory-sensitive visitors join in the fun before our main display lights up the town at 8:00 PM.

- 5:30 PM – Gates Open
- 7:00 PM – Sensory Fireworks
- 7:30 PM – Lighting of the Bonfire
- 8:00 PM – Main Fireworks Display
