The Pavilion in the Park: Refreshments Return to Play Close

Refreshments are back in Play Close Park, thanks to our new partnership with Connells Leisure & Outdoor Catering.

It’s been two years since the original Pavilion Café was closed for safety, and we know how much visitors have missed having a place to grab a drink or snack while enjoying the park. The beautifully adapted shipping container, now The Pavilion in the Park, brings freshly made teas, coffees and light refreshments back to this well-loved space.

We’ll be launching just in time for the 1940s Melton Mowbray weekend, where the Pavilion will be open and serving throughout the festivities. We’re grateful to the Connell family for their energy, creativity and experience. We can’t wait to see everyone enjoying a cuppa in the park again.
